NYSE Euronext Celebrates 2nd Anniversary of its Veteran Associate Program at the New York Stock Exchange

- Veteran Associate Program Participants Ring The Closing Bell® on Friday, July 5, 2013  -

NEW YORK, July 5, 2013 - Military veterans representing several branches of the U.S. Armed Forces are currently participating in the second annual NYSE Veteran Associate Program (VAP).

This year's summer program expanded to 28 military veterans participating in a 10-week session dedicated to providing U.S. military veterans with a valuable hands-on business experience. Training and resources are designed to promote professional skill development, allowing for a successful transition from the military to the private sector.

Marshall Carter , NYSE Euronext Chairman of the Board of Directors and honored and decorated war veteran, serves as the executive sponsor of the VAP.

To recognize the VAP initiative, the following participants of the VAP class of 2013 rang the NYSE Closing Bell® on July 5, 2013:
