Trabue Bland is SVP, Futures Exchanges at Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE) and oversees all of ICE’s futures exchanges globally. Bland previously served as President of ICE Futures U.S. as well as VP of Regulation where he managed ICE’s regulatory efforts globally, with an emphasis on CFTC regulation. He also serves on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission Energy and Environmental Markets Advisory Committee.


Prior to joining ICE in 2007, Bland was Legal Counsel to Acting Chairman Walter Lukken at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. He was also a trial attorney in the Division of Enforcement and an attorney in the Division of Clearing and Intermediary Oversight.


Before joining the Commission, Bland was in private practice at Balch and Bingham, LLP. He served on the staff of Senator Thad Cochran before attending law school. Bland holds a law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Washington and Lee University.
